Winterizing your Rib and Outboard Engines – Part II
Having completed the maintenance of your engines, which must remain in a vertical position in order to drain well from the water, we proceed to the maintenance of the Rib with simultaneous inspection of any possible damage that may need to be repaired.
- Empty completely the rib from all its gear and equipment.
The first thing you have to do is to remove everything from your rib and let every locker completely empty: lines, life jackets, anchors, fenders, seat and couch pillows, tents and any removable electronic device.
